Medical Assistant/Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated medical assistant or registered nurse to join our established office. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of providing exceptional care to women in all stages of life.

General Summary

Assists with the assessment of patient needs by taking vital signs, blood pressure and patient history. Prepares exam rooms and assists physicians with exams and medical procedures. Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections. Document visit information in Greenway PrimeSuite EHR.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Patient first commitment to nursing
• Knowledgeable of HIPAA guidelines
• Ability to work with patients, families, providers and co-workers to provide high-quality patient care
• Demonstrates a professional attitude and appearance
• At least three (3) years of experience as a medical assistant preferred
• Experience with Greenway PrimeSuite electronic health records (EHR) a plus
