About the role

Up to a $1,000 Sign on Bonus Available*

Baptist Health is currently seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Neurology department office located in Jacksonville Beach, FL. This is a Full-Time opportunity working Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical assistance to physicians
• Obtains vital signs
• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
• Maintains medical documentation
• Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
• Processes prescription requests and referrals

Experience Requirements

• 2+ years Patient Care Experience
• Experience in Physician's office

Education & Credential Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Certified Medical Assistant Preferred
