Key Responsibilities
- Rooming patients and recording vital signs
- Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining sterile technique
- Aiding providers during aesthetic and wellness treatments
- Documenting patient care accurately in the EMR and keeping charts up to date
- Educating patients and providing post-treatment care instructions
- Managing lab orders/results and coordinating follow-up appointments
- Making follow-up phone calls to patients
- Supporting inventory management and stocking clinical supplies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a medical assistant program
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) credential or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a closely related role
- Strong phlebotomy skills with experience performing phlebotomy in a clinical setting
- Experience handling clinical lab workflows, including sending and receiving lab orders/results and coordinating follow-ups
- Proficiency documenting patient care in an EMR with strong attention to detail
- Ability to quickly learn new software systems, including Zenoti and custom CRM platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a medical aesthetics practice
- Knowledge of medical aesthetics and wellness/functional medicine
