Medical Assistant - Mohs Surgical

About the role
Do you enjoy caring for patients in a surgical setting in order to eradicate their skin cancer? Join our Mohs Surgery team as a dermatology Medical Assistant! This role involves assisting in both Mohs surgery and general dermatology, with travel required to multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Room and care for patients for the duration of their surgery
- Assist the Mohs Surgeon during procedures
- Provide patient education
- Perform daily patient tasks
- Assist in general dermatology on non-surgical days
Our medical assistants must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, be highly organized, and detail-oriented.
Requirements
- Certified as a Medical Assistant through the WA State Department of Health
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 months of related healthcare experience or trade school equivalent
- Experience in a surgical setting is preferred but not required

Pay
$22.50 - $29.00 hourly (dependent upon work experience, transferable skills, business needs, and geographic market availability)
Schedule
Mondays - Thursdays, 7:30am - 5:00pm
Location
Primary location: Longview. Travel required to other locations such as Gresham, Portland, and Vancouver (travel reimbursed).
