Medical Assistant- Mercy Clinic Watson

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support primary care providers by coordinating patient care and ensuring a positive patient experience.
• Room patients, obtain vitals, complete intake, medication reconciliation, and Epic documentation.
• Perform in-office testing, administer injections/vaccines, and assist with procedures.
• Support preventive care through screenings, care gap closure, referrals, and follow-up scheduling.
• Assist with orders, prior authorizations, inventory, and general clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Position Details: MA Certification Not Required
• Primary Care Assistant - Medical Assistant: Education - High School Diploma or GED. Certification - Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.
• Primary Care - Certified Medical Assistant: Education - High School Diploma or GED. Certification - Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
