Medical Assistant - Medical Cardiology & Electrophysiology

Full-time position (40 hours per week) based at Swedish Hospital, with some travel to other locations and flexible hours to meet operational needs.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $19.89 - $28.84. The rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
• Perform basic vitals such as blood pressure, height and weight
• Provide front office support as needed
• Phlebotomy and giving injections (varies by specialty)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience (required)
• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program (preferred, but not required)
• CPR-BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required)
• Medical Assistant Certification (AMT, AAMA, ARMA, CCMA, CMA, MAC, AMCA) (preferred, but not required)
• One year of work experience (required); previous experience in a medical office or related field (preferred)
• On-the-job training provided for candidates without prior medical assistant training or experience
