Medical Assistant - Mayfair

About the role

Join Colorado Physician Partners as a Medical Assistant and collaborate with our Clinical services staff to deliver outstanding patient services. Your role will help create a welcoming environment that fosters patient comfort and trust.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for patient visits by reviewing and updating patient records before face-to-face or Telehealth appointments, ensuring all recent test results and correspondence are up-to-date.
• Maintain exam rooms by cleaning and stocking them between patient visits, adhering to infection control standards.
• Prepare patients for their visit and notify the physician or mid-level provider when they are ready to be seen.
• Greet patients, take vital signs, and document basic medical history accurately.
• Assist physicians or mid-level providers during patient examinations.
• Restock supplies, check inventory, and keep all areas clean and orderly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current, valid Certification of Medical Assistant.
• Current, valid CPR certification.
• Valid State Driver’s License preferred.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to take medical histories, understand instructions, and document information accurately.
• Beginner to intermediate computing and phone skills.
• Willingness to adapt to various job duties and cross-train within other departments.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with diverse populations and cultural sensitivity.
• Knowledge of “Universal Precautions” and adherence to HIPAA standards.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish or other languages is a plus.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $19.29–$20.59.

Eligible for quarterly performance bonus based on individual and/or company performance.
