Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Medical Provider to provide supportive patient care and perform tasks as delegated, including assisting in maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Be trained to perform many medical support tasks, such as drug screen collections, diagnostic testing, preparing specimens, injections, and blood draws.
• Be trained to perform administrative support tasks such as answering phones, checking in and outpatients, filing, and record processing.

Qualifications

• A High School Degree
• PREFERRED: Enrollment in a Medical Assistant (MA), Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Nursing, or related program
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills in both verbal and written form
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, leadership, time management, follow-up and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work positively among diverse groups of individuals promoting a “TEAM” environment and “Leads by Example.”
• PREFERRED: Bilingual in Spanish / English
