Medical Assistant (MA) - Rheumatology Clinics

About the role

Aurora Medical Group (AMG) is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at AMG-Park Ridge and Nesset Pavilion. The position is full-time with benefits eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: 8.5 hour shifts Monday-Friday between 7am - 5:30pm
• Welcome patients and support their transition into care
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Medical assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred

Qualifications

Must be willing to travel to both Nesset Pavilion @ 1775 Ballard, Park Ridge and AMG-Cumberland @ 10 N Cumberland, Park Ridge.

Pay

$22.90 - $34.35 based on experience

Schedule

Variety of hours to follow provider schedule and clinical support to total 40 hours: Mondays: 7am - 5:30pm Tuesdays: 7am - 5:30pm Wednesdays: 7am - 5:30pm Thursdays: 7am - 5:30pm Fridays: 7am - 5:30pm
