Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology, and oncology services.
Responsibilities
- Provide superior patient care in a clinic-based environment.
- Perform administrative and delegated clinical tasks that support patients as part of a care team led by the physician and/or advanced practice provider.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree.
- Graduated from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.
- Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care.
