About the role
The Medical Assistant (MA) role is assigned duties and responsibilities related to patient care and administrative support in a team-based environment while promoting a smooth flow of patients through the office. The Medical Assistant MA functions under the license of the physician/advanced practice practitioner when performing clinical and other patient care responsibilities.

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for patient care and administrative support in a team-based environment.
Requirements
- Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Must meet one of the following requirements:
- Graduated from an accredited vocational institution or community college in Medical Assisting with 160 hours of clinical experience completed;
- Completion of an Adult Education Medical Assistant program and 6 months of clinical experience in a practice setting;
- 1 year of clinical experience in a multi-provider practice setting (equivalent experience will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis).
- License/Certifications: Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, NCCT, or NREMT certification preferred. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
- A NH Med Tech License, or NH EMT and National Registry EMT license is required for those positions located in New Hampshire.
Qualifications
Relevant experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $21.09 to $27.12 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE). Schedule
Full-time and part-time positions are available, with compensation prorated for part-time positions.
