Job Summary
Provides basic clinical and clerical support in the delivery of patient care within the Medical Assistant scope of education.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR an active CT CNA, EMT, Paramedic or Medic Certification OR relevant experience as outlined below.
- Experience: At least one year of experience in direct patient care (acute or ambulatory space) OR relevant experience or Medical Assistant externship in a busy medical office.
- Licensure, Certification, Registration: Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 90 days of hire date or job transfer date.
