Position: Medical Assistant (MA): Clinton North Health Plaza
Location: Clinton, IA
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Day shift, M-F

Responsibilities

• Supports the operation of the clinical practice by performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks.
• Aids physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, and basic clinical procedures.
• Captures and documents vital signs, prepares patients for examinations, and assists with minor clinical procedures.
• Maintains accurate medical records and ensures patient confidentiality.
• Coordinates patient flow and manages scheduling.
• Backfills offices when available, including lab collection and lab testing.

Requirements

• Must have successfully completed an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• MA Certification/Registration preferred prior to hire and required within one year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Basic computer skills.

Pay

Salary range: $25,000 - $35,000 annually.

Schedule

Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
