Medical Assistant (MA) / Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Endocrinology

Role Overview: The Medical Assistant provides direct patient care and clinical support in an outpatient setting, functioning as a key member of the healthcare team under provider supervision. Key Responsibilities: Prepare patients, collect and review pertinent information, perform technical duties such as EKGs, wound dressings, and phlebotomy, and support minor surgical procedures. Handle administrative tasks including patient scheduling, documentation, billing inquiries, and facilitating referrals. Ensure patient safety, privacy, and proper infection control protocols. Assist with inventory management, instrument sterilization, and maintaining clinical environment standards. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred; certification as CMA or RMA required, with certification from recognized associations. Demonstrate competency in clinical procedures, documentation, and patient communication. Effective in teamwork, organization, and patient education.
