About the Role
At Providence Medical Group SW, our Medical Assistants are valuable members of the patient care team in our clinics. We currently have full-time roles available in the following departments and locations: Cardiac Surgery: Olympia; Cardiology: Olympia; Central Triage: Olympia; Endocrinology: Lacey; Family Medicine: Chehalis, Lacey, Olympia, Rochester; Immediate Care: Lacey, Olympia; Internal Medicine: Centralia; Neurology: Olympia; Obstetrics & Gynecology: Olympia; Occupational Medicine: Lacey; Providence 65+: Lacey; Physiatry: Lacey; Pulmonology: Olympia; Urology: Olympia; Vascular Surgery: Olympia; Women’s Health: Centralia; Women’s Health Urogynecology: Olympia.

Required Qualifications
- Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants, or Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program, or Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces, or Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
- Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 6 months healthcare experience
- 6 months Medical Assistant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification
Pay
$23.27 - $35.60 per hour. Placement on the wage range is determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. Additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
