How Will You Make An Impact & Requirements
- Take vital signs, perform point-of-care testing, assist with diagnostics
- Administer immunizations, injections, and medications under provider direction
- Perform phlebotomy and prepare lab specimens
- Provide patient education and coordinate referrals
- Manage patient flow and prepare exam rooms
- Support front desk operations (phones, scheduling, registration)
- Maintain supplies and follow safety, infection control, and HIPAA standards
- Participate in team huddles, training, and quality improvement
What You Bring
- High School diploma or GED
- Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA preferred)
- Graduate of an accredited MA program
- Phlebotomy certification within 90 days
- 2+ years of MA experience (primary/urgent care preferred)
- EMR experience and strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinic
Health & Physical Requirements
- Hep B immunity
- Recent TB test
- CPR/BLS certification
- Annual flu and COVID-19 vaccinations
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform full-range clinical tasks
