Join our team as a day shift, full-time Medical Assistant (MA) with locations available in Emerson, Paramus, Montvale, and throughout Bergen County.
At Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center—a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital—you’ll work in a modern facility featuring a new emergency department, state-of-the-art maternity center, women’s imaging center, and ICU.

Responsibilities
The Medical Assistant provides superior patient care and performs administrative and delegated clinical tasks that support patients in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by a physician and/or advanced practice provider.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Associate’s degree.
- Graduation from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.
- Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care.
- Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
Pay
Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include additional pay components such as differentials and call pay.
