About the role

Noble Community Clinics seeks Medical Assistants who are passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care. This role involves supporting providers, maintaining clinic operations, and creating a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures by taking vital signs, recording medical history, and updating patient charts.
  • Document patient information in the EMR following best practice standards including compliance with HIPAA.
  • Auxiliary work during provider examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and collect/prep specimens for analysis.
  • Administer injectable medications and immunizations as ordered by Provider.
  • Order, track, and monitor immunizations in adherence with the Vaccines for Children Program and the Wisconsin Immunization Registry.
  • Educate patients on follow-up care, procedures, and treatments.
  • Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and medical equipment to ensure a clean, safe environment.
  • Aid with scheduling, referrals, and EMR documentation (Epic preferred).
  • Triage patient calls and provide support at the front desk when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and patient confidentiality regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • CPR/BLS Certification required.
  • 1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
  • Comfortable working with diverse populations and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of EMR, medical terminology, medications, immunizations, phlebotomy and lab preferred.

Qualifications

  • Medical Assistant Certification.
