Medical Assistant - MA

Responsibilities

• Navigate conversations related to management of health, well-being, medication management, and goals of care
• Provide supervised, directed treatment of common medical diagnoses
• Participate in continuing education as required by the state where you reside and the DocGo training team
• Adhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics
• Practice under direction with synchronous telemedicine support
• Maintain patient medical records and documentation consistent with state regulations, DocGo standards, and policy through our EMR system
• Lead your practice with a patient-centered approach
• Perform other related duties as deemed necessary

Qualifications

• One of the following certifications: MA, CMA, CCMA, or RMA
• Valid CA Driver’s License (for at least 2 years) and an acceptable driving record
• Minimum 2 years of recent in-person experience as a MA, CMA, CCMA, or RMA in an Urgent Care, Primary Care, or related setting
• Phlebotomy experience
• Active and current American Heart Association BLS
• Fluent bilingual English/Spanish, preferred
