Medical Assistant (MA)

About the role

Medical Assistant (MA) Family Care practice offering Full-Time (40 hours/week) or Part-time (20 – 29 hours/week) on the Day shift with a flexible schedule.

Pay

$19.00 – $27.00 per hour (based on experience).

Training

Full-time schedule for 6 – 8 weeks of on-the-job training; Patient Care Techs (PCT) encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Room patients
• Obtain vitals
• Assist with intake process
• Perform ECGs
• Work with the provider to assist during the patient visit

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• Graduate of a certified Medical Assistant (MA) or LPN program or 1 – 3 years experience in a Medical Assistant role in a medical office
• Prior experience in a busy medical office preferred, but not required
• Strong critical-thinking skills
• Excellent customer-service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
