About the role
Description University Physicians' Association, Inc. is looking for a full-time Medical Assistant (MA) at Lakemoor Family Physicians located between the UT Medical Center and Topside Road. This position will be Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm and will be supporting two physicians.
Responsibilities
- Assisting physicians with patient care
- Scheduling
- Prior authorizations
- Obtaining pre-certs for MRIs and CTs
- Communicating test results
- Phlebotomy
- Various other tasks
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Time management
- Organization
- Medical Assistant Certification or LPN License
- Prior medical experience
