What You'll Do

• Welcome and prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and documenting detailed medical histories
• Auxiliary providers during dermatologic procedures and examinations, ensuring efficient and high-quality patient care
• Perform basic laboratory testing and collect specimens for analysis as needed
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations and practice standards
• Congest patient scheduling and support seamless communication between patients, providers, and staff
• Inform patients on treatment plans, medication instructions, and skincare recommendations to promote positive outcomes
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary medical supplies and equipment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or similar clinical role is advantageous
• Understanding of medical terminology related to dermatology
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written for effective patient interactions
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a medical setting
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software is beneficial
