Medical Assistant Instructor (Part-Time, Afternoons) at an Albuquerque campus, responsible for delivering engaging instruction, guiding clinical lab procedures, and supporting student development in medical assisting.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver interactive lessons accommodating adult learners
• Provide hands-on lab instruction and demonstrate clinical skills
• Assess and grade student work, offering constructive feedback
• Mentor students through scheduled office hours
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate with campus leadership
• Organize enrichment activities like guest speakers and clinical visits
• Ensure safety and compliance with OSHA/HIPAA standards

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or equivalent experience
• At least three years of full-time clinical experience as a Medical Assistant
• Current national Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) or willingness to obtain
• Relevant state and local credentials as required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools
