Program/Course
- Responsible for comprehensive course instruction within specified program
- Responsible for providing Program Director/Director of Education with active input in course development
- Responsible for the creation and revision of daily lesson
- Responsible for continued professional growth by attending in-service training and/or continuing education seminars
- Responsible for accurate record keeping of student attendance and academic
Student Development
- Responsible for creating a classroom environment which fosters students’ academic growth and guides their professional development
- Responsible for keeping DOE apprised of student progress
- Responsible for providing extra help to those students experiencing difficulty in the mastery of course work
- Responsible for advising students who have minor problems which may be thwarting educational
- Responsible for referring students whom have major problems to the Program Director/Director of Education
- Correct and return quizzes, tests and lab assignments within 48 hours to
- Utilize instructional and audiovisual aids, and all available resources in the online
- Responsible to demonstrate utilization of community resources through arranging guest speakers, field trips and class participation in community service events
- Report damaged, broken, or malfunction equipment immediately to the Program Director/Director of Education
- Required to turn in grades within 48 hours of the end of term
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as required by the Program Director/Director of Education
- Although you will be provided with most teaching materials, you may be required and are expected if necessary to enhance the curriculum
Qualifications
A Master's degree in Allied Health or related field preferred.
Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to teach effectively, and strong organizational and time management skills.
