Job Summary

If so, we're seeking a Medical Assistant to join our pediatric orthopedic care team at four convenient locations: Salt Lake, Lehi, Provo, and Layton. This position offers flexible scheduling with no weekends required.

Responsibilities
- Patient Care and History: Greet pediatric patients and their families, collect medical history, and ensure comfort and safety.
- Casting & Clinic Care: Assist with applying and removing casts, surgical pins, sutures, and post-op dressings, and guide patients on using Durable Medical Equipment (DME).
- Clinic Support: Keep the clinic running smoothly by documenting in the EMR system, coordinating appointments, and scheduling.
- Back Office Support: Answer patient calls, prep charts, and make post-op follow-up calls to maintain efficiency and organization.
Requirements
- Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system.
- Three years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
- One of the following certifications: Advanced EMT, Paramedic, CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), NCMA (NCCT), NRCMA (NAPMA).
- Specialty proficiency within six weeks of hire.
- Physical demands: Ability to stand for long periods, help transfer patients, and operate equipment.
