About the role
Granger Medical Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Medical Assistant II to join their Urology team in Sandy, Utah.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on patient care including vital signs, immunizations and phlebotomy.
- Conduct phone triage and assist with insurance authorizations.
- Prepare patients for exams and ensure providers have complete, accurate clinical information.
- Schedule appointments and serve as a welcoming point of contact.
- Maintain exam rooms and clinical documentation.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, physicians and staff.
- Support clinical operations with additional duties as needed.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED equivalent required.
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
- 2-years Medical Assistance experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong typing skills, 40 wpm.
- Basic arithmetic, computer and analytical skills.
- Dependable, flexible, and multi-task oriented.
- Enjoy working with people, being a team player and willing to help others with tasks.
Skills
- Must be able to read, communicate and write well in English.
- Additional languages helpful but not required.
