Medical Assistant II, Plastic Surgery
At ChristianaCare, our Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery team is dedicated to restoring confidence, function and quality of life for patients affected by cancer, trauma or congenital conditions. Our surgeons provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across breast reconstruction, head and neck reconstruction, and complex trauma reconstruction, using advanced surgical techniques and a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach. Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities
- Ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care
- Assists providers during virtual and in-person appointments
- Acts as a leader and mentor to office staff to promote effective workflow and team collaboration
Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED required
- Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program
- Current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
- Two years’ experience as a Medical Assistant (three years preferred)

Pay
Hourly pay range: $19.84 - $29.76. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
