Job Requirements
Fulfills patient care duties under direct supervision of an on-site provider, including assisting with patient care, documentation, and clerical tasks.
- Greet patients courteously and professionally.
- Follow communication protocols and respond to customer inquiries.
- Document patient histories and chief complaints accurately in the EMR.
- Assist Medical Assistant I with clinical tasks and provide guidance.
- Perform vital sign checks and report abnormal results.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist with procedures.
- Collect and document routine clinical tests.
- Ensure equipment and supplies are properly stocked and maintained.
- Administer select medications and injections under supervision.
- Participate in vaccination programs and assist with front desk operations.
- Enhance patient experience by addressing potential barriers to a positive experience.
- Review and respond to business communications.
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Demonstrates leadership through collaboration, teamwork, communication, accountability, customer service, and advanced clinical skills.
