About the role
The Medical Assistant II - OBGYN - Riverton position at Granger Medical is responsible for providing comprehensive support to OBGYN physicians in a clinical setting. Duties include assisting with patient examinations, managing medical records, and coordinating patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient examinations under the supervision of OBGYN physicians
- Manage and update medical records
- Congestive heart failure
- Manage patient scheduling and appointment coordination
- Perform administrative tasks such as billing and coding
- Provide patient education and counseling
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences or related field
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant
- Experience in an OBGYN setting preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of electronic health record systems
