Medical Assistant II FLOAT (Administration Satellites)

Position Overview

Nemours Children’s Health is seeking a Medical Assistant II (MA II) to join their Administration Satellites team. The MA II serves as an important liaison between patients, providers, and other care team members. Key responsibilities include coordinating patient flow by assisting in clinical data collection and review for patient intake, ensuring the appropriate information is available to the provider, and entering pertinent history in the medical record. Additionally, the MA II performs and assists with clinical procedures as directed by the provider and per protocol.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical and administrative tasks
• MA Certification required (see below)
• MA school preferred
• American Heart Association BLS Certification within 90 days of hire date
• Ability to mentor and train new Medical Assistants
• Travel to other locations may be required
