Summary of Position
Provides care and support to patients under the direction of the physician and/or mid-level provider. Contributes to the planning and delivery of patient focused care.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must have a Medical Assistant National Certification
- In the last three- (3) years, one (1) year experience as a Certified Medical Assistant in a clinic or acute care setting preferred
Prior to Employment
- Eligibility for shift differential pay based on the terms outlined in company policy or union contract
- All individuals (including current employees) selected for a position will undergo a background check appropriate for the position's responsibilities
