About the role
Provides proficient clinical and administrative support under the supervision of a Provider or licensed Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for exams
- Record vital signs
- Perform phlebotomy
- Administer medications
- Collect data for patient assessments
- Process laboratory specimens
- Communicate findings to healthcare providers
- Document care accurately in electronic health records
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Conduct point-of-care testing and screenings
- Perform routine office duties such as filing and room preparation
- Maintain positive patient and team relationships
- Triage issues and participate in process improvements
- Adhere to safety policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Completion of a certified Medical Assistant, EMT, or Paramedic program
- BLS certification
Preferred
- Experience in phlebotomy
- Healthcare experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical records
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
Schedule
Full-time, onsite role with a variable day schedule.
