Primary Responsibilities
- Assist clinicians with patient examinations and treatments under physician direction.
- Provide front and/or back office clinical support in accordance with Care Center or Medical Group Practice protocols.
- Greet patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner and facilitate a positive patient experience.
- Manage patient check-in by ensuring charts are prepared, medical records are available, patient information is current, and required paperwork is complete.
- Interview patients, obtain and document vital signs, and record the reason for visit.
- Explain procedures, perform treatments, and administer prescribed medications as directed.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
- Reconcile co-payments at the end of each day in accordance with clinic procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of two (2) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A current and valid Medical Assistant certificate / certification from an accredited training program required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills may be required, depending on location or patient population.
- An active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.
- Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is required.
