Job Description Summary ‎ Medical Assistant – Full Time (Vera Whole Health) Location: 2570 Blackmon Drive, Suite 400, Decatur, GA 30033 Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 8:00am–5:00pm; Thursday 9:30am–6:30pm No weekends Pay: $20–$24.50/hr Experience: 1–2 years required Certification: Must be a Certified Medical Assistant Clinic Type: Primary Care (2 providers; 8–15 patients/day) Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, 13 paid holidays About The Role Vera Whole Health is seeking a reliable, patient‑focused Certified Medical Assistant to support our primary care clinic. You’ll work closely with two providers, assist with clinical tasks, manage patient flow, and help deliver exceptional care. We’re looking for someone with strong clinical skills, excellent attendance, and a team‑oriented mindset. ‎ How Will You Make An Impact & Requirements ‎ Key Responsibilities Take vital signs, perform system reviews, and complete point‑of‑care testingAdminister injections, immunizations, and oral medicationsPerform strong phlebotomy, EKGs, and specimen processingAssist providers with diagnostic tests, treatments, and proceduresObserve and document patient reactionsProvide routine patient education and support care‑management needsTrack preventive care, referrals, and follow‑up testingCoordinate with specialists and outreach for care gap closuresSet up exam and procedure rooms using proper sterile techniqueSupport front‑office tasks when needed (phones, scheduling, patient registration)Maintain inventory and restock suppliesDocument accurately in the EMR and follow HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA standardsParticipate in team huddles, training, and quality‑improvement activitiesTravel to nearby sites or events when requiredDemonstrate excellent customer service and teamworkPerform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (required)1–2 years of experience (primary care or urgent care preferred)Strong phlebotomy, injection, and EKG skillsExperience documenting in an EMRAbility to set up exam/procedure rooms using sterile techniqueReliable, punctual, and committed to excellent attendanceStrong communication and customer‑service skillsAbility to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinicTeam‑oriented, adaptable, and committed to patient‑centered care Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k)PTO13 paid holidays ‎ Compensation Range $20.00 to $30.00 The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting.
