Medical Assistant I

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vitals
• Enter patient information into electronic medical record (EMR)
• Set up and assist with office procedures
• Chaperone providers during patient examination
• Take pre-op and post-op photos of patients
• Maintain surgical instruments and transport them to Central Sterile (CSS)
• Process surgical specimens and transport them to Pathology
• Maintain and stock exam rooms
• Order clinical supplies
• Complete FMLA and Disability forms
• Clean and reset exam rooms
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year experience as a Medical Assistant or EMT-Paramedic preferred
• Certification requirements: CPR-preferred
• Age-specific care provided for: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics, Pediatrics
• Travel to all satellite locations required

Salary Information

Min USD $17.83/Hr. Max USD $26.75/Hr.
