Responsibilities

  • Provide the best patient experience by warmly welcoming patients, prepping them for their visit, and thoughtfully answering their care-related questions.
  • Act as the right hand to the provider by assisting during procedures, capturing detailed visit notes, fulfilling prescription orders, and ensuring the appointment runs smoothly.
  • Keep the clinic running efficiently by managing supplies, maintaining equipment, understanding exam room flow, and finding creative ways to improve workflow.
  • Be a reliable teammate by jumping in to help, keeping things organized, and contributing to a positive, supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Successful completion of a state-approved Medical Assistant program (or extensive experience, where permitted by state law).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction (we do not sponsor work visas).

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Medical office, procedure/exam room, and laboratory environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards, or toxic substances. Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending, and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
