What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Provide direct patient care and clinical support in an outpatient clinic setting
- Obtain patient medical histories and expedite patient flow
- Navigate electronic health record systems and assist with medication requests and scheduling
- Communicate respectfully with pharmacies, insurance companies, patients, and physicians
- Support both clinical and administrative functions to ensure efficient patient care
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- A high school diploma or equivalent and vocational/technical training in a designated technical area
- 0-2 years of experience in a healthcare or clinical setting
- A current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license, State Registered Nurse Assistant (SRNA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
- A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- All experience must be paid and in the same related field
