About the role

Location: Wauwatosa, WI, Facility: Wauwatosa Ambulatory Center, Department: Heart and Vascular, Schedule: Full-time | Day Shift. Ascension is a leading nonprofit Catholic health system with a culture and associate experience grounded in service, growth, care and connection.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations, treatments, and specialized clinical duties.
• Interview patients to record medical history and accurately measure vital signs for charting.
• Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms while ensuring all medical supplies are ordered and stocked.
• Manage essential clerical tasks, including phone correspondence, record maintenance, and filing.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Qualifications

Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Skills

Cardiology experience preferred.
