Medical Assistant - Full Time Pittsburg Clinic

About the role

This role is responsible for assisting providers with patient care, performing clinical and administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient vitals, medical history, and symptoms.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.
• Perform basic lab tests and specimen collection.
• Maintain clean and organized exam rooms.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals.

Skills

• Strong communication and patient interaction skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) preferred.
• Previous clinical experience preferred but not required.
• CPR certification required or willing to obtain upon hire.
