Medical Assistant - Full-Time Float - Clinic

About the role

Troy Regional Medical Center offers a positive, supportive environment that fosters professional growth. This position is available in the newly acquired Primary Care clinic in Troy, AL, with opportunities to float to other clinics in Troy, Brundidge, and Elba.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients
• Collect and maintain patient information in the EMR
• Assist medical providers with patient care
• Assist with scheduling appointments and performing front office duties

Requirements

• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects
• Must demonstrate quality initiative and cooperation
• Must be comfortable with computers and learning new systems quickly (Athena or MedConnect experience preferred)
• Must be able to work independently and make sound judgments
• Must have a professional, positive demeanor and excellent customer service skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
• Current CPR certification
