Medical Assistant (Full-Time)

We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support high-quality, patient-centered healthcare at school-based clinics in rural Colorado. The role involves providing clinical and administrative support, including documenting vital signs, administering vaccines, performing lab work, and managing supplies. The Medical Assistant relays patient concerns, assists with follow-up care, minor procedures, and referrals, ensuring seamless care coordination. Maintaining accurate electronic health records and supporting preventive health activities are key responsibilities. The position requires excellent customer service, organizational skills, and experience with electronic medical records, preferably Athena Health. Certification in BLS/CPR is necessary, along with a commitment to health equity and culturally responsive care. The role involves traveling between clinic sites and may include flexible hours during summer months. A background with at least one year of medical assisting experience and knowledge of patient rights is preferred.
