Medical Assistant (Full-Time)

Role: Full-time Medical Assistant supporting high-quality, patient-centered healthcare at school-based clinics in rural Colorado. Responsibilities Document vital signs, height, weight, and vision metrics.Perform clinical procedures such as vaccinations, lab work, and specimen collection.Relay patient concerns, assist with follow-up care, minor procedures, urgent situations, and referrals.Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records.Manage vaccine, medication, laboratory, and supply inventories, including refrigerator monitoring.Support immunization, dental, and preventive health activities.Adhere to safety, infection control, and clinical procedures.Assist with scheduling, front desk, and administrative tasks. Qualifications & Skills At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience preferred.BLS/CPR certification.Strong customer service and communication skills.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Experience with Electronic Medical Records; Athena Health preferred.Commitment to health equity, privacy, dignity, and culturally responsive care.Reliable transportation to travel between clinic sites.Ability to work reduced hours during summer months when school is not in session.
