About the Role

Newberry Health is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our exceptional Pediatrics and primary care team in Newberry County, SC. As part of a 90-bed, acute care, independent, not-for-profit hospital recognized with the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval, you will provide individualized patient care using age-appropriate skills under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized patient care using age-appropriate skills.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• At least one year of experience in a health care setting or medical assistant training, or an equivalent combination of experience and training, is required.
• Medical assistant certification is required.
