Medical Assistant - Full time

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for visits with the provider, including rooming, obtaining vitals, reviewing intake paperwork, and pulling up radiology images.
• Remove dressings, set up procedures, and perform injection prep.
• Accurately enter data into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Maintain exam room standards.
• Aid in the preparation of patient prescriptions and completion of medical and patient forms.
• Print clinic schedules on the morning of the date of service.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant training program or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Knowledge of the health care field.
• General knowledge of patient care in a clinic.
• Knowledge of back office skills.
• Knowledge of patient confidentiality, state laws, HIPAA regulations, and medical records procedures.
