Medical Assistant (Full and Part-Time)

Primary Responsibilities

• Aid in delivering patient care management
• Collect and document vital signs
• Collect and document patient history information
• Answer and return patient phone calls
• Schedule patient appointments
• Remove sutures and staples
• Apply splints and fit durable medical equipment
• Provide patient education
• Stock and order medical supplies
• Clean equipment and patient rooms
• Dispose of biohazard bags and sharps containers according to protocol
• Coordinate patient surgeries
• Scan documents into electronic health records
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
