Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) and be a Certified Medical Assistant
  • 2 years experience as a Medical Assistant/Nursing Technician/EMT or Military Corpsman with minimum 1 year experience in orthopedic practice or other surgical subspecialty in an ambulatory setting.
  • BLS Certification
  • Strong patient-centered approach
  • Ability to multitask and follow through with tasks to completion
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and proactive; a team player who knows how to think critically in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • Offer help to coworkers when needed
  • Active participant in seeking solutions to problems and escalate issues appropriately
  • Ability to effectively and accurately follow directions or instructions
  • Consistently displays a positive attitude towards one’s work and work environment
  • Familiarity with medical terminology

Qualifications

  • Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) and be a Certified Medical Assistant
  • Preferred Attributes: Epic knowledge
