About the role
The Medical Assistant/Front Desk at Greenwich Medical Spa (GMS) is a full-time position that requires a high energy and dedicated individual. This role works closely with clinicians to prepare patients for treatments, greets patients, schedules appointments, and maintains all areas of the spa.
Responsibilities
- Prepares treatment rooms and equipment at the beginning of the day and closes rooms down at the end of the day.
- Prepares patients for treatments by reporting patient history summary, drawing blood (if applicable), preparing the room set up/procedure set up, cleansing, and preparing the treatment area, and any additional preparation needed for treatments.
- Obtains pre and post photography.
- Prepares patients for treatments by reporting patient history summary, drawing blood (if applicable), preparing the room set up/procedure set up, cleansing, and preparing the treatment area, and any additional preparation needed for treatments.
- Counsels patients by reviewing pre and post treatment care instructions.
- Maintains all treatment rooms by ensuring linens are clean, trash is emptied, and rooms are always impeccably clean.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
- Schedules appointments and checks out patients.
- Maintains all areas of the Medspa - public areas and treatment rooms.
- Answers inquiries from patients and leads in the sale of product or service.
- Verifies patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit, obtains consents for treatments.
- Prepares patients for treatments by reporting patient history summary, drawing blood (if applicable), preparing the room set up/procedure set up, cleansing, and preparing the treatment area, and any additional preparation needed for treatments.
- Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
- Ensures all services and products offered are understood by patients.
Requirements
- A strong understanding of all services and products offered.
- Able to answer inquiries from patients.
- Able to lead in the sale of product or service.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with Zenoti a plus!

Pay
$X per hour, depending on experience.
