Medical Assistant for the OR Part-Time

Opportunity Overview

US Fertility, the nation's leading partnership of physician-led fertility practices, is seeking an OR Surgical Tech to join our team at RMA of New York in Mount Kisco, New York. The role is part-time, 20 to 28 hours a week, Monday through Friday, with varying schedules (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time), and includes weekend and holiday rotations. Compensation is $25.88 per hour (commensurate with experience).

How You’ll Contribute

• Prepare and maintain a sterile field with required instruments and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Set up and scrub for routine and urgent surgical procedures and prepare patients for surgery.
• Observe vital signs.
• Perform other related functions as needed.
• Maintain the procedure rooms and order supplies.

Qualifications and Skills

• A High School diploma or equivalent.
• A Surgical Technician Certification is preferred.
• A National Operating Room Technician Certification (CORT) is preferred.
• At least one year experience in acute care operating room or assisting in procedures as a Surgical Tech.
• Open to non-certified medical professionals.
• Detailed orientation and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual language skills are a plus; interest in the field of reproductive medicine is preferred.
• A current BLS/ACLS Certification is optional.
