Medical Assistant for East Cobb, Marietta

Looking for candidates located in Roswell, East Cobb, Kennesaw, and Woodstock.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance forms
• Take patient vital signs, record medical histories, and update patient information in electronic health records
• Assist healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
• Provide patient education on various health topics and assist with discharge instructions
• Assist RNs in surgery center with turning over the bays (cleaning/restocking), laundry, and instrument sterilization
• Serve and protect the physician or healthcare provider practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and State

Requirements

• Medical Assistant (MA) experience
• Experience working in an orthopedics medical office or clinic setting preferred
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
