Medical Assistant for Convenient Care Office - 4 - 10 hour shifts per week

About the role

Join our team of caregivers at Healthcare Network (HCN), a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing quality medical, dental, and behavioral health services to patients from birth to geriatric. Our mission is to ensure that all patients receive comprehensive care, regardless of their insurance or income status.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake and registration
• Perform basic medical procedures under supervision
• Administer medications as directed by a physician
• Collect and record patient health information accurately
• Prepare examination rooms and equipment
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and support

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR certification
• Valid Florida Driver’s License
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Pass a Level 2 AHCA screening, urine drug screen, and validation of job-required immunizations

Skills

• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong organizational skills
